Most advisors solve the problem. I find the source of it.
I have spent 23 years inside businesses. As a COO, a founder, a crisis communicator, a strategic consultant.
I watched a global financial crisis happen from inside the London press office of Lehman Brothers. I built a creator technology app during COVID and watched an entire economy reshape itself in real time.
I founded a business, raised millions, and learned what it really costs. I ran a drone manufacturing company and kept a team of engineers and pilots from failing in one of the most highly-regulated industries in the world.
I have sat in the rooms where things fall apart, and I’ve been in the rooms (and sheds) where things are being built from scratch.
I have prided myself on being able to solve problems others couldn’t. I have built operations and strategy to make founder visions come to life, I have cleaned up chaos, and always been the connective tissue that kept organisations moving forward. And I loved it all.
And then I did deeper work. On myself, for myself. So that I could do more than “solve an organisational problem”, but to be able to support leaders and decision-makers in ways that allow them to be extraordinary at work, in life and for themselves.
Two hundred hours of Neuro-Linguistics Programming. Hypnosis. The Enneagram. Discovering new systems and patterns to understand what is running underneath. In people. In business. In me.
Source Work is where those two worlds meet.
I work with leaders who are successful by every measure they currently have, and yet they feel there is something just out of their grasp.
They've never had a space to be anything other than the strongest person in the room.
I give them that space, without asking them to drop the things they're responsible for. I deeply understand the responsibilities, accountabilities and identities that follow leaders in their lives.
This is intelligent depth. It's rigorous, it's real, and it goes where most advisors won't.
My name is Cortney Thomson. And this is my life's work. Source work.
